With the accelerating growth of the Records Management, Information Retrieval, Knowledge Management and Information Architecture fields the need for quality tutorial material is rapidly increasing. No longer is it possible for a generic tutorial to satisfy the needs of the diverse base of users now considering the use of a thesaurus or taxonomy within their sphere of business. With this in mind, we have decided that the provision of links to relevant sites, providing different aspects and overviews of thesaurus construction techniques, is preferable to an attempt to produce such a generic tutorial document.
These sites are list alphabetically and their position in the list carries no particular significance. The content on each site must be assessed for your individual use.
