History
Term Tree thesaurus software is the key element of a full range of thesaurus creation and management software, plus comprehensive optional products, for the many complex tasks associated with developing and organising hierarchical terms. Business classifications, EDRMS file/record plans, controlled vocabularies, taxonomies, ontologies, effective interchange with record management systems etc. are all efficiently managed by the Term Tree thesaurus software.
When released in 1999, Term Tree rapidly gained acceptance with professional thesaurus/classification developers worldwide. Since that time, Term Tree has constantly been enhanced with new advanced features, though prices today remain the same as when originally released.
In early 2002, Term Tree was the first thesaurus software management product to introduce a Retention & Disposal module, linking Disposal classes to thesaurus classification terms, for the record management classification users.
Word template reporting was introduced in mid 2003 to allow users to prepare customised presentation quality reports. Reports may use Word styles, fonts, highlighting, shading etc. An example from a disposal report is shown on the Disposal page.
Optional modules are available to enable interchange of data with EDRMS systems.
